Abstract
This paper proposes and describes a prototype of an agent-based infrastructure to support the supply chain management of a virtual enterprise. A virtual enterprise is composed of autonomous, distributed, and continuously evolving entities, therefore we have naturally modelled each business entity with an agent platform. Each agent can play several roles according to the task to fulfil. To this end, we apply such an approach to a virtual storehouse scenario
