Abstract
A completed on-chip terahertz system is implemented on a quantum Hall effect device fabricated from a GaAs/AlGaAs single heterostructure crystal. Terahertz photons, emitted from an edge-channel confluence, are transmitted along a coplanar waveguide and subsequently counted by a quantum-dot single photon detector fabricated on the same chip. This technique will provide a unique method for manipulating terahertz photons on solid-state devices.
