  • Abstract
Based on the steady-state characteristics of Distributed Generators (DGs) in a microgrid a fault analysis method has been developed using Matlab-Simulink phasor analysis tool. Droop control and current limiting are included in the steadystate DG models. The method can be applied for both fault and load flow analysis of small and medium scale distributed generation networks in the Simulink environment and can be a key approach in the development of computational iterative methods to be used for the analysis of large networks. The steady-state modelling results are compared and validated with dynamic simulation results of the same microgrid.
