Abstract
This report describes the PAPR problem in multicode CDMA and investigates the effectiveness of using Reed-Muller and Kerdock codes to tackle this problem. The performance of Reed-Muller and Kerdock coded multicode CDMA system in the presence of amplifier nonlinearity are investigated. The performance of hard-decision decoding in AWGN and fading channels are compared with that of the uncoded system. The results show significant performance improvements over the uncoded system
