Abstract
Electronic white board (EWB) is a network-based multimedia application. It allows distributed users to share a public drawing space called white board. Evidently, communication can be described as the foundation of the EWB system. A good communicating mechanism can improve the performance greatly. This paper provides some solutions, which include network architecture, network topology, communication modes, buffering technology, fault tolerance, and so on
