Abstract
A small-sized high-performance bandpass filter design is presented in this paper. The LTCC multilayered structure and Stepped Impedance Resonators (SIR) are employed to miniaturize the filter size, and through the introduction of transmission zeros can obtain a higher stopband suppression. This paper highlighted discusses the factors that cause the filter insertion loss. The designed filter has superior passband characteristics with central frequency 2.45 GHz and package size is 2.5 mm times 2.0 mm times 0.9 mm. The simulation results shown the proposed filter completely meet the needs of bluetooth/WLAN wireless communication systems.
