  • Abstract
    Firstly, research progress on extracting agricultural information is presented in this paper. Secondly, taking Kunshan City in Jiangsu Province of China as the study area, the combinative methodology of automatic extraction and visual interpretation of land-use in Kunshan City from remote sensing data is dealt with. Thirdly, agricultural information is extracted by the binarization method. Finally, spatial directions and their changes of agricultural information are obtained in Kunshan City with remote sensing and GIS. The result shows that agricultural information can be obtained by the combinative methodology of automatic extraction and visual interpretation accurately and fleetly, moreover, the faster changes of agricultural land located in the northeast, east and south can be also concluded, and the extent of change are less in other directions.
