Abstract
In this paper, the Azimuth cut-off procedure is first extended to the X-band and properly calibrated over COSMO-SkyMed© SAR measurements. The data set consists of 100 X-band COSMO-SkyMed© SAR data, collected in the Mediterranean Sea on 2009-2010 and gathered in different acquisition modes, i.e. StripMap HImage and ScanSAR Huge Region ones. Experimental results demonstrate that different model calibrations of the Azimuth cut-off procedure are needed for the StripMap and the ScanSAR mode.
