Abstract
Plug-in electric vehicles (EVs) can be fully or partially charged from a renewable energy source. In this paper a simulation model for an EVs charging system with photovoltaic grid-connected configuration is presented by using Energetic Macroscopic Representation (EMR) and Maximum Control Structure (MCS). The simulation results under different conditions show the validity of the model and the feasibility of the proposed system design.
