Abstract
A finite element programme in C++ was written capable of producing the electric field and temperature distribution in materials heated by microwaves, as well as other forms of electrical energy. A formulation in the time as well as frequency domain using edge elements is possible. For very large industrial problems in electroheat it is essential to be able to run the code on a supercomputer thus reducing processing times quite considerably
