  • Abstract
    Unlike the traditional direct current millimeter-wave radiometer, an alternating current radiometer is presented for the passive millimeter-wave imaging with simple and integrated structure. In this paper, we discussed the special spectrum characteristic and the direct current compensation mechanism for the alternating current radiometric imaging. And a stability-controlled method is considered to improve radiometric sensitivity and imaging quality. The imaging analysis of 3 mm band alternating current radiometric imaging show it possesses its own imaging characteristic different from the direct current radiometer. The alternating current radiometer is easy to carry on multi-channels passive millimeter-wave focal plane imaging.
