  • Abstract
    Pilot-aided carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimation is a promising CFO estimation technique in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. However, in a clipped OFDM system, the clipping noise will distort the pilot tones, so as to degrade the CFO estimation performance. To alleviate this problem, in this paper, a new technique is proposed to reduce the influence of the clipping noise on pilot-aided CFO estimation. Simulation results show that the proposed technique can effectively improve the CFO estimation performance in clipped OFDM system.
