Web Service Recommendation with Ontology-based Similarity Measure

The concept of Web service recommendation is suggested in the present paper, i.e. using a computer system to dynamically offer the service requesters with services that potentially fit the requesters´ persistent interests. Such service recommendation is supported by a lightweight semantic similarity assessment model between request and service advertisement, originated from the ontology-based conceptual similarity measure. The paper furthermore discusses a Web service recommendation framework, which utilizes the proposed similarity assessment model.
