Abstract
Theoretical and experimental investigations of conditions of electron bunch excitation in undulator have been theoretically studied. The relation between bunch dimensions, number of electrons and bunch lifetime has been obtained by using the virial theorem. The spontaneous radiation of non-relativistic electron beam is experimentally shown in a system with axial symmetrical magnetic disks.
