Abstract
A 300 GHz frequency doubler with a standard crossed-waveguide design has been investigated. The embedding impedance at both fundamental and second harmonic frequency has been optimized to the desired diode impedance by a commercial finite element program. Preliminary measurements are in good agreement with the expected multiplier performance.
