Abstract
A novel nonlinear correction method for FMCW systems is proposed. By periodically measuring the F/V relationship of VCO and adjusting the control signal, the shift due to change of environmental conditions and aging is compensated. Without complex PLL synthesizer, SAW reference path and real-time correcting, this method simplifies system implementation and reduces cost. Hence, it is a promising method for nonlinearity correction in FMCW system.
