  • Abstract
    A photonic wavelength-division switching system using phase-shift-controllable DFB LD tunable filters was studied. Uniform eight-channel selectivity, error rate and crosstalk characteristics, measured in a switching experiment, are shown to be sufficient for achieving eight wavelength-division multiplexity with 0.8 Å tuning range
