  • Abstract
    New analytic expressions are presented for the nonlinear coefficients of the power spectrum of clipping noise for general asymmetrical and threshold clipping cases in optical fibre SCM video systems. These expressions are a valuable complement to the frequency transform analysis approach proposed before for predicting clipping noise spectrum, and helpful in the accurate and easy estimation of system performance
