Abstract
A teaching strategy that integrates the project-based learning and the systems approaches is applied to a technology management final project course. In this course, teams of senior students carry out mini-projects that require either the design of products, systems or services or finding a solution to a practical problem in industry. The main aim of the qualitative study presented here was to examine the studentspsila emotions, thoughts, behavior, and difficulties during and at the end of the project. The main benefits and challenges of the project-based learning approach are discussed and then the methodology of the study and the main findings are presented.
