Abstract

In current world, the semantic Web is not just a medium for information and records carrying, but growing communities for people sharing knowledge. With rapid updating Webs, many Websites or pages died away due to lack for awareness of importance of Web archive. The demand of establishing Web archive system is pressing for. This paper is concerning the construction of an NTU (Nanyang Technological University of Singapore) Web archiving system. We aim to discuss the value of the Web archive system, mainly from a technical point of view, to evaluate the feasibility of such systems, and to realize the basic functions. The design tool is the selective capture approach, and certain software is used to realize this SCI Web archive system based on system testing.
