Abstract
Accuracy of realization of capacitance unit by means of the conventional cross capacitor depends on the constancy of end effects of the guard electrodes. The impact of end effects can be reduced by changing the shape and selecting the potential of additional electrodes that are installed on the ends of the guard electrodes.
