Abstract
The basic concept of video streaming over several vehicular platforms, the main requirements from those different applications are described. The common challenges from these sectors are studied; an actual design overcoming part of these difficulties is reported. Section I is the introduction of the challenges, section II is the briefing for the customized solution, section III is the detail design analysis and the last section is the summary and future work. The major challenge in this area is providing fast image processing with low latency, under limited space, limited weight, limited power and limited link bandwidth constrains. This paper offers the fundamental design choices and rules of thumb.
