  • Abstract
    The characteristic of process and control for the rectification of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) is analyzed. Based on the predictive functional control, the total solution of advanced process control for the rectification of VCM is proposed for solving the control difficulty. Using the predictive functional control virtues sufficiently in fast tracking speed, strong disturbance rejection performance and good robustness, the solution improves the smoothness of the key parameters for process, assures the quality of VCM and retains the smoothness of process. The results of application show that the advanced process system can bring about more economic benefits for the rectification of VCM
