  • Abstract
    Condition-based maintenance (CBM) is a systematic project; the multi-agent system (MAS) was introduced to the field of CBM on the basis of distributed intelligent agent technique. The workflow of optimal maintenance decision was analyzed based on MAS, The system framework of distributed MAS optimal maintenance decision system and its prototype system are designed in order to achieve the harmony among the operator, expert and the computer. The systematic goal, framework and function are particularly introduced, and the implementation method of hardware and software is proposed. The test results demonstrated that the system can provide service in the whole life of equipment and highly improve the efficiency of decision and accuracy of fault location
