Abstract
This work describes a critical analysis of patterns in the software engineering field. From the conclusions obtained, the authors propose the concept product pattern, which is compatible with the existing patterns and is product oriented. This means that the same pattern can be used in different methodologies, based on the idea of using software engineering products as artifacts that exists and are not dependent of one methodology or another, they exist by themselves and have potential connections with other products. Product patterns are intended to be used in a multimodel software development environment. In order to make product patterns accessible, they have been implemented in a Wiki, which conceptual model is described too as part of this paper.
