Abstract
This approach to manufacturing control relies on the availability of standard hardware and software which will support a distributed relational data base management system; it transforms the approach to manufacturing control by allowing all types of plans to be based on the same modelling/simulation process; it provides a simple and quick method of control which assists a company management team to make the most out of existing technology and; it is responsive to a fast changing external or internal environment
