Abstract
An analysis is reported for the evaluation of the down-link transmission performance of multiple carrier (MC)-CDMA system, in hybrid fiber-radio access network, for broadband signals distribution. The nonlinear effects due to optical link give rise to severe constraints in the design of such MC-CDMA systems. In particular, it has been shown as nonlinear distortions cause significant performance degradation, because the receiver is no more able to achieve correctly the separation of the signals due to the lost of orthogonality among code words
