  • Abstract
    Simple configuration of RF module is proposed for passive millimeter-wave imaging system. The results of the detector design for the module are reported in this paper. A detector planar circuit and a waveguide horn antenna are connected by broadband microstrip-to-waveguide transition. A number of the antenna is arranged around the focal point of the lens, which results in the proposed RF module. Since the module forms a layer structure composed of substrate and machined flat metal plates, which contributes low-profile and easy manufacturing. Here, the structure of the proposed imaging module is described in detail. Next, the results of the detector design used in the proposed imaging module are described.
