Abstract
Misalignment between the predistortion correction tables and the nonlinearity of a high-power amplifier produces incomplete cancellation of the nonlinear components in the output signal. The misalignment caused by the modulation and upconversion circuits as well as temperature and loading changes has been analyzed by simulation. For the amplifier chosen, there is a simple power relationship between the adjacent channel leakage (a measure of the misalignment) and many of the tested parameters (carrier leak, differential gain, temperature change, etc.)
