Progress on Mogul E-a flash radiograph facility

Summary form only given. Mogul E, a flash radiographic machine was designed by the Pulse Power Group at AWE(A). It is now under construction and should be completed by the end of 1992. It will be an 11 MV and 65 ns X-ray generator, accelerating a 35 kA electron beam of diameter less than 1 cm to impinge on a thin tantalum target.
