  • Abstract
The analysis of MIMO schemes using antennas with different radiation patterns in an interleaved manner has been proposed. They demonstrated to be advantageous from the point of view on robustness when the scenario is changing as it is the case for mobile terminals. In this sense, they can be a simple alternative solution to the use of adaptive antenna. The required opposite radiation patterns can be easily obtained with patch antennas.
