Abstract
The author describes some of the problems encountered with Police Service Vehicles relating to interference in the electronic systems. The author describes problems in the engine management system and direction indicator flashers of the BMW K100 motorcycle caused by the on-board radio transmissions. Other problems with Jaguar and Rover 800 cars are also described. The solutions to all the problems are discussed. The measures taken to ensure EMC of Police vehicles are discussed.<>
