Abstract
Input impedance of a probe excited rectangular cavity-backed slot antenna is characterized in this paper. By using the method of moments together with the dyadic Green´s functions, the input impedance at the feed probe for various parameters, viz. frequency, slot length, slot offset, probe length, probe location and the cavity size are illustrated and discussed.
