Abstract
This paper describes a new UHF direction finding antenna design composed of ultra wide band dual polarized sinuous antennas. The simulated and measured results of the proposed system show good agreement as expected. Moreover, there is no degradation of the DF-error in VP and the system has a very good accuracy in HP on the all frequency band. In addition, DF-sensitivity is equivalent or better on the frequency band in VP and has good performances in HP in comparison of the commercially available antenna. This study finally aims at a new design of ultra wide band dually polarized direction finding antenna with good performances.
