Abstract
In order to understand the impact of the financial crisis on the software outsourcing enterprises, to recognize the essence of the internal resources and capabilities, and to figure out which element or elements have a huge influence on the competence of the software outsourcing enterprises after the financial crisis, a survey about the software outsourcing enterprises in Jiangsu was conducted in 2009. in this paper, we interviewed senior managers of 120 software outsourcing enterprises in Nanjing, Wuxi and Suzhou. Empirical results show that the long-term relationship between clients and human resources are the key factors and there is a mutual association in the internal factors which influence the competence of the software enterprises. we propose that China´s software outsourcing enterprises start to use multi-pronged approach to enhance their competence.
