Abstract
The subject of modelling microstrip circuits and antennas on cylindrical substrates is considered. Two efficient methods are presented which overcome the heretofore existing convergence problems for the evaluation of near field quantities. The characterization of microstrip transmission lines, associated discontinuities and microstrip line fed microstrip dipoles will be presented. Comparison with corresponding flat geometries will be discussed.
