Abstract
In the market where price and performance are tough to match, size has now become extremely important factor for the mobile phones base stations. At the current mobile communications bands, air-filled filters are being used and tend to be bulky. The dielectric loaded comb line filter is proposed to reduced the size of the filters and enhance the performance of the filters. An eighth-order canonical combline filter is designed and the measured results show improved performance.
