Abstract
We report a high performance frequency standard based on Coherent Population Trapping, incited by a modulated VCSEL in the 87Rb-D2 line. Short-term stabilities of ¿y=3Ã10¿11/¿¿ and relative frequency deviations below 10¿11/day were demonstrated.
