  • Abstract
    Based on the analysis of the crushing characteristics of the vertical roller mill, this paper studies the methods of crushing the materials, calculates the relative parameters for the single particle crushing-the largest clamp angle and the particle diameter, analyzes the force of friction between the roller and the material layer as well as the influence of the particle size on the clamp angle. Combined with the position curve of the roller´s movement measured at the work site, introduces the concept of the crushing mechanism of material layer, further studies the three stages of the crushing process of the vertical roller mill and analyzes the influences on the mill running caused by different movement position of 3 rollers and the uneven force acted on them.
