  • Abstract
    This paper proposes a modeling method of a photovoltaic (PV) module by a MATLAB. The main contribution is to investigate all PV parameters necessary to model a PV module. This is achieved based on the given commercial specification in datasheet of PV producer. This method is appropriate for single-diode PV model. The environmental factors, which are considered in this paper, consist of light irradiation and ambient temperature. These main factors affect the parameters of a PV module. The simulation results also show that these factors and the corresponding PV model influence the power obtained from PV modules.
