Abstract
This paper analyzes the stroke length, honing pressure on the influence law of the inner-hole honing cylindricity, and presents a method of the development of cylindricity prediction model based on the response surface methodology. The paper uses central composite face-centered design methodology to design the test, and variance analyses is applied to check the fitting degree of the prediction model. According to analyzing the effect and edge effect of various processing factors, Knowing about the stroke length influences the inner-hole honing cylindricity more than the honing pressure.
