Abstract
Extenics is to use formal model to expand the possibilities of things and the laws and methods of innovation, and it is a novel subject in solving non-compatible problem. Extension logic provides a new mathematical tool for building expert system and makes representation of knowledge and method of reasoning similar to human´s thinking manner. Through the research on the matching principle of extension rule and the algorithm ideas of extension inference, we propose a calculation method of the matching between fault conditions and antecedent rules. The research suggests that the reasoning of extension rules, not only does knowledge representation compared with the traditional production rules improve, but also solve the problem that traditional expert system prone to matching conflict and so on. The expert system is used for fault processing of AMU, and the test result shows it is reasonable and practicable.
