Abstract
Ensuring the reliability and safety of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) devices requires continuous monitoring of the battery conditions. A system is described that records and analyzes all relevant battery parameters, such as conditions of float charge, discharge voltage, ripple current, and battery temperature. The system consists mainly of a microprocessor-controlled data-acquisition unit with specially developed software. Functions and hardware of the system are described
