Abstract
In this paper, a Hamilton-Jacobi inequality approach is developed for the strict H∞ control problem of nonlinear systems and the characterization of some gain conditions. First, a characterization of the strict bounded real condition of nonlinear systems is given. Next, based on the above result, some necessary and/or sufficient conditions are given for the solvability of the strict H∞ control problem via state or output feedback in the case of asymptotic stability. Finally, we give a characterization of some gain conditions except for the L2 gain
