  • Abstract
    The antenna design concept and manufacturing approach are presented for a sectioned (segmented) 1.5 m single offset diamond antenna incorporating a `state-of-the-art´ feed system combined with graphite composite reflector construction technology. High electrical performance, compactness, ruggedness and ease of operation were prerequisites of the system design for shipping in IATA compliant baggage
