Abstract
The authors describe the development of the Oxford multiple drive system, OXPACT-II, which features current field generation applied through programmable voltage sources. The system, under microcomputer control, operates at 9.6 kHz and comprises 32 driving and 32 voltage measurement electrodes. The system performance of OXPACT-II has been evaluated
