  • Abstract
Short-time Fourier Transform (STFT) can not take into account time and frequency resolution at the same time, and trade-off between them has to be made when it´s used. Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) algorithm can achieve high frequency estimation accuracy, but it requires searching spectral peak in the full range frequency domain, and this will take a long time. To meet the needs of high accuracy and real-time performance when estimating parameters of frequency hopping signals, an algorithm combining STFT and MUSIC algorithm is proposed, which can achieve high time and frequency resolution, and reduce the search range of MUSIC algorithm´s spectral peak. Simulation results show that this algorithm can estimate the hop transition times and the hopping frequencies accurately, and its real-time performance can fill the requirement of frequency measurement.
