Abstract
In this paper, the multi-resonator structures are used as building blocks for artificial magnetic materials to decrease dispersion and loss in these materials. Using circuit models for the effective permeability, the multi-resonator structure is optimized to achieve an effective permeability with desirable dispersion. The proposed structure includes four inclusions with configuration of 3rd order fractal Hilbert curve. Using the proposed optimized multi-resonator configuration, an effective permeability of 3.8 plusmn 5% over the frequency range of 430-470 MHz is achieved.
