Abstract
The scattering properties of slots in a dielectric-filled guide obtained from the solution of pertinent integral equations by the method of moments are discussed. Specifically the scattering properties of a longitudinal slot cut in a dielectric-filled rectangular waveguide are presented. It has been found that the shunt model becomes poor for larger values of the dielectric permittivity and slot offset, and for reduced waveguide heights.<>
