Abstract
A propagation model and delay profile classification are proposed for predicting delay spread. The model is evaluated by calculating and measuring delay spread. and the predicted delay spread is shown to agree well with the measured value. The experiment also shows that the delay spread is effectively reduced by base station antenna beam tilting.<>
